How my life has changed since I came to Murcia

I am originally from a village in the mediterranean coast called Mazarron, but I came to Murcia to study in the University. Here, I live with my friend Angeles in an apartament, she studies arts and we both are in our first year. I know here sice the wombs of our mothers so is easy to live with she. Since I live here I have to take care of myself. I make my meals and I clean the apartament. When I lived in Mazarron, My parents taked me to school in car, now I have to go myself to the university at foot.  But I think that the thing that has change the most is my schedule. I used to had class in the morning, and now I have it in the afternoon, which has change my form of organasing completly. I know that this may sound weird but I dant particullary miss my family, since I come back to Mazarron, every week, and we phone each other a lot. But I miss some of my friends, since right now I dont almost none of them, and that makes me kind of sad.


A special skill I have.

I dont know if its considered an skill, but I am able to read text really quickly and understand perfectly what says. I think that comes for the fact that I love to read, and I have been reading a lot since I was a child. I am able of reading a 500 pages book in a day, when I said that I can do that for the first time, everyone was really surprised. I can also read really fast books that are in english, no as fast as in spanish tough. Also, I have a really good memory to remember titles of books, names of characters or authors names even when years have passed, that also happens me with TV shows. Sadly that doesent happens to me with the studies, except for history.  When I study history, I tend to do it like if I was reading book, so I am able to memoriza better than others subjects. I am not really good in things like sports and I am really imaginative, so I think that is why I like to read so much.


A hobbby

One of my hobbies is to read books. I really love them. I think what I like more about that is to know new stories. Thats why I also like to watch series or films or read comics. Reding comics is a more recient hobby. I have always been reading books, but I started to also read comics reciently when I becamed a  fan of Marvel movies. That was when I started reading comics, my favorite comics are those of the X-men. I think they have an interesting metaphor of belonging to an opressed group. My favorites X-men are Marvel Girl and Iceman, but I also like others like Storm and Scarlet Witch. Recently I also started to read spiderman comics, but I still like more the X-men. I will like to start reading DC comics in the future, and the ones that catch better my attention for the moment are those of Batman. So i think I will start for those, I am really interested in the dynamic of relationship between Batman and Catwoman.

Learning to play sport

I have tried so many sports in my life, and the only clear conclusions that I have get of that is that I am terribly bad at them. The first sport I triend was ballet, or maybe I shuld say the first sport I was forced to do. I absolutly hated, eventough I really like the costumes we have to wear  to do performances. It is problably the only thing I liked. During that time I learned the basic postures of ballet. The type of dance we practiced the most was ballet, since was the speciality of our teacher, but we also practiced modern dance and flamenco. We even learned how to play the castanets. After three intensive year of me pleading my parents to stop with dancing, they finally payed me attention and I coul stop doing to the academy. But my parents wanted me to play an sport, and I chosed to try basketball, the experience was almost as horrible as the one of the dancing.

My favorite sport to play or watch.

I dont like to do sports or to watch them. The first because I am really bad at them, also I am not really pasionate about any particular sport. The second one is bacause I find really boring to watch persons playing any sport. The only exception I think that is dancing. I dont like to go to dance academies because I think that they dont let you have any creativity in your own and you have to follow very specific guidelines. I prefer to dance on my own, and have my own creativity. Also I dont like ballet or flamenco, I prefer modern dancings, I like to dance to songs that i like and memorize a coreography. I also think that watching people doing dance covers of songs in youtube is really fun to watch. I also will like to go to a ballet, especially Swan lake, I really like the melodies of the songs, I even learned how to play the principal theme with the flaute bacause I like it so much.

An accident.

I never in my life have had an accident. I have never wore a plaster, broke a bone or even twist my ankle. I can safely said that I have been lucky. Maybe it can also be due to the fact that whatever I did an sport I always did the minimum. I think that the time that is more similar to an accident that I have ever had is when I maked me a small burn. I was little and I wanted to check if the clothes iron was off. So, I bringed the back of my hand to the clothes iron, and I maked me a samall burn. At first, it looked really bad and it was inflated, but with the time the injury started to  become better and then I only had a small mark in the back of my hand. Now when I look at it is almost imperceptible. So, I guess I can say that I have been lucky in my life and nothing really bad has happened to me, and I hope that never happens, because I endure the pain very badly.

Being on time.

Being on time has never being an issue for me, it is not like I have never been late in my life, but I usually has no problems for being in time. But some of my firends really have that issues specially two of them, lets call them Alonso and Melissa, for not giving their real names. They really have a problem with time, they are late everywhere. They were late going to school, they are late when me and the rest of my friends meet with them. Alonso even confessed me not much ago, than he even go late to universty class. But anyways, They are my friends and I love them no matter what. I think that here in Spain is not as serious as in other countries like for exaple in UK or Germany. I am not really sure if in Germany are as serious about being on time like everyone says or is just an exageration. I personally think is more like the second option. If is not I will not be very surprise the germans seem like really strict people.

The people I live with.

I actually have two houses. One in Murcia, this is the house I spend more time in, that I have to study in Murcia, and in which I live with my friend Angeles. The other one is in Mazarron, a village which is my place of origin, there I live with my family, I only spend there the weekends. My family is composed for my mother, my father and my little brother. My mother works as administrator in a company that is dedicated to export vegetables. My father is a driving instructor, and my little brother is studying in highschool and wants to be engineer in the future. In Murcia, I live with Angeles, that I have been knowing her since we were in the wombs of our mothers. I think that I have a better coexistence with my parents since I do not live with them 24/7 now, and for the moment I live good with my friend, and we have not have had any fight, which I think is a little bit weird but I hope it mantains that way.

American customs I like/Dislike.

I do not think the US has specifics customs, I think that is more like a mix of  customs. A clear example of this is that there is not official language. Is true that a majority speaks or can understad english, but is not the official language. There is also no offcial religion, but the majority indentify himself as a christian. The fashion in the US depends of the state where you are, and is heavely influnced for the celebrities. American food is also a mix of the cusines of other countries, is especially influenced for the Europeans and Native Americans. They have the domain of the arts, right now the majority of the films and TV shows are form there, also the books. I dont dislike any of their customs, I think that they are really interesting. The most popular sports there are football, baseball, basketball and Hockey. One of his most important holiday days is the day of independence, the fourth of july.

An important story in the news.

Apple is preparing a reality aumented glases, but they would not be released until year 2023. For now is just a rumor, but a strong one, a rumor that is practily confirmed. Apple will release a reality aumented glases, that will combine sintetic images and real ones in the vision camp. Some analist pointed that the glasses may see the light next year, but in accord with "The Information", that has internal sources  from the company, apple will not have the reality aumented glasses until 2022, and a less heavy glases until 2023. That was the comunicated of the company in some privete meetings to some of the employers. Apple will put in 2022 a helmet similar to the acctual Oculus Quest form Facebook, but with a less heavy design and that will use cameras to show the usuary the images of the real world with the supoposed virtual objects. The working student.

The working student is the one that tries to put his maximun effort in everything he does. Maybe some students have more facilities at the hour of studying and remembering. But I think that if you put enough effort you will have the results, or maybe this is the typical chat about if you make efforts you will have the same results or better than a student with facilities. The true is that I dont konow if you will have excelent results or at least the results that you expect, but you will sure have better results than if you are not a hard-working student. Maybe you will not have tha same results a someone that is not as hard-working but have facilities, but you will have not better results if you do not do nothing. For example I have a friend, lets call her Paula, that is like that, she has difficulties with the studies, but she is very hard-working. She with a lot of effort achieve to pass Selectividad.

A big mistake you once made.

I do not remember right know a big mistake that I have made. I surely have done a lot but now I do not remember them, right now. So, I will talk about other peoples big mistakes, I guess that is easy than talking about your own. A big mistake was the one of the 12 editorials that did not want to publish Harry Potter. Today, it is sound insane, but the first book of Harry Potter was rejected for 12 different editorials, that didnt think that was a comercial book and now thay have to be screaming about having let go to one of the most succesful series in the literature. Even Bloomsbury Publishing the editorial that finally published the book was going to reject the book. His main editor Nigel Newton descarted the book eventough he did not read a page, but her daughter Alice, with eight years, read it and tell his father that was the best thing she has ever read in his life.

Using e-mail.

Using e-mail  has been pretty easy for me since always, I maked me my own e-mail to register in games, my father helped me to do it, and he was the one that choose my e-mail name: anavirgo2001. The ana part is obviously for my name. The virgo part is for my zodiacal sign, I remember that in that time I was obsessed with the zodiac signs, I have never believe in them, but it was really fun to read it. Since that, I started to do emails for the rest of my friends, simply for fun. The name of the email followed the same estructure as mine. I had a friend, lets call her Lara, his zodiacal sign was Sagittarious, she was a year older than me, so she was born in 2000. so his email was Larasagitario200. The later I did another email to another friend, I thinked it was fun to do emails, now I look back and I dont know why exactly I thinked that. I think that the email has make people lifes a lot easier.

Cell phones.
The cell phone os without doubt one of the most useful devices that has been created in the history of humanity. You can literally do everything with them, you can communicate people thar are far from you, calling them or via message. You can listen to music, watch TV shows in plataforms like Netflix or HBO or found every tipe of information surfing on the internet.  You can even read books. But the best thing about the cell phones, are that you can go with them everywhere.  They are really small devices, so you can transport them with facility.  But they also have some inconvenences, they make people to feel absorved in them. They are literally like an addiction, and like all the addictions they can harm your life. They can distract you from your principal objetives, like the studies. So I recommend you to put some kind of limit. If you dont want to harm your grades or your social life

Teenagers

I have been a teenager not long ago, or maybe I still am one. What is suposedly when you stop being a teenager? When you turn eighteen you stop being one? Just like that? Night to day? So many questions, not answers for the moment. The teenagers are portrayed in a such awful and exagerate way in the media. I think that maybe they have some mood changes because is the time when your hormones are evolving, but I think that is really exagerate the way they are portrayed. Your teenagers year are a period of life between the puberty, that marks the end of your child years, and the start of adulthood, moment in wich it has been completed the developing of your organism. Is also a period of the biological, psycological, and social development. Is a time that is full of changes. It suposedly ends when you turn nineteen.

The right age to get married

I think that there is not right age to get married, everyone is his own person, and have a right age. Maybe, you do not have to get married at all. Of course thare are ages that is absolutly unaceptable to someone to marry, like when you are still a chid. You should marry whenever you want, when you already eighteen years old. But if you want the opinion of an expert, some studies says that people should get married between the ages of 28 and 32 if they dont want to get divorced, at least in the five next years. For women the average age of getting married is 25, while is 27 for men. a 20 percent of womens prefer to marry a the 21 years old, while a 12 percent favors more to marry at 30 or more. Depending also in the country you live, is normal to marry at an age or at another, also in which zone of the country you marry.  In india for example, for men the age is 26.

A good friend

I cant choose only a good friend. So I am going to name my five bestfriends, which I am going to name: Lara and Angela.  I have been knowing Lara since I had 10 years old, when she came new to my class, since then we made ourselves very good friends. Lara was also my neighbourg so we could see each other frequently. When we enter in highschool we distanced, but in 3 ESO, we started to see each other again. And here we are, we can not see each other as frequently as before, because I moved to Murcia, for start the university, and she lives now in Cartagena doing a degree. Angela and I have been Know ech other sice literally the wombs of our moms. We have always get along, especially when in highschool we started to have the same group of friends. Now, we live together in Murcia. We are flatmates, She goes to the university too, and is doing arts.

Shopping

I am not really a fan of shopping, of course I like to have a lot of nice things, but I do not really like the process of buying things, like is not really my style. When I am in a shop, and I have to look for things I reall like, I get really bored. Is really annoying, also, I have to watch if the clothes are of my size, because i very shop the size is different. We can say that shopping is like an activity, in which the client choose between the different articles o services that they offer to him. But the shopping now isnt only in the streets, there is also online shopping. Now you can check for the articles you want in web pages, ffered by the same shops you will see in the streets. Also in that way you can check for the information of the products, such as from where the come or what are the materials in which is made. When you buy online, the products come directly to you.
